Fireworks are back in Monaco with a bang

In August, enjoy a spectacular performance on Port Hercule.

Even though Monaco Art en Ciel, the Principality’s international fireworks competition was unfortunately canceled this year, the town hall of Monaco did not want to deprive spectators of a spectacular fireworks show. After a first performance on July 31, the fireworks will return to Port Hercule for a second evening on August 7.

Access to the port is free but subject to certain conditions. Anyone over the age of 16 must present a valid health card and an identity card. Face covering is compulsory for everyone from 6 years old.

Summer on Port Hercule

Until August 22, the quai Antoine Ier is adorned with a multitude of outdoor activities. Fancy a ride on the merry-go-round by the sea? Or do you prefer to race around the go-kart track? On Wednesday evenings, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., you can even try out this year’s exclusive novelty: a race track for radio-controlled cars.

Once you’ve had your fill, why not sit on one of the benches on the promenade and browse the panels explaining the exhibition on Alberto Giacometti?
