Rajasthan bans sale of firecrackers until next year

Jaipur, September 30 (SocialNews.XYZ) The government of Rajasthan on Thursday announced a ban on the sale of all kinds of fireworks across the state until next year, citing the possibility of a third wave of corona.

In accordance with the opinion issued by the Ministry of the Interior, this ban begins from October 1 and will be in effect until January 31, 2022, thus excluding fireworks on Dussehra and Diwali.

The issuance of temporary licenses for fireworks was also prohibited until January 31, in accordance with the order issued to all district collectors. A large number of temporary licenses are issued in Diwali at the district level.

Noting that fireworks were banned last year due to the difficulty of breathing for those infected with Covid, the advisory says experts have expressed the possibility of a third crown wave, and like the smoke fireworks cause great suffering to the elderly, sick, suffering from COPD, or asthma, and patients with Covid, fireworks must be banned this year too.
