Southern Brave hosts Trent Rockets in the Eliminator at this year’s Women’s Hundred competition.

The match is scheduled to start at 3:00 p.m. BST on Friday, September 2.

Where is the game played?

Brave has home-court advantage for this key knockout match, with both Eliminators taking place at the Ageas Bowl.

Who has the form?

Southern Brave will ruin their failure to secure a direct passage to the final after losing in the final round to Northern Superchargers, but they start as heavy favorites here nonetheless.

They won their first five games of the campaign, including the only meeting with Trent Rockets by 10 wickets, to secure a place in the top two.

But they failed to finish top for the second consecutive campaign after being beaten by Superchargers by 20 points at Headingley.

The Rockets needed a clean run rate to stay in the competition, having finished tied with Birmingham Phoenix and the Superchargers.

They eventually progressed through victory over Welsh Fire by eight wickets.

What’s the team news?

The battle with the Rockets’ top three will likely hold the key to the contest. They must see the first sets and put their spinners into play to have a chance of victory.

Sciver, Villani and Bryony Smith have surpassed the 100-point watermark this season, each reaching a mere fifty in the group stage.

Abi Freeborn can be counted on to arrive in order and score points, having hit an unbeaten 45 in the tournament opener against Manchester Originals.

She entered the tournament in good shape, scoring 35, 48 not eliminated and 72 for Central Sparks in the Heyhoe Flint Trophy.
