What is the correspondence?

Southern Brave hosts Trent Rockets in the final game of this year’s Women’s Hundred competition.

When does it take place?

The match is scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m. BST on Thursday, August 25.

Where is the game played?

In the first game of Thursday’s doubleheader, Brave hosts the Rockets at the Ageas Bowl.

Who has the form?

Southern Brave, unequivocally. Four wins out of four, they are the only team in The Hundred with an impeccable record, unlike their male counterparts.

With a view to a fifth straight victory, they host a Trent Rockets team who have won one and lost two of their four games. Brave’s batting core of Danni Wyatt, Sophia Dunkley and Smriti Mandhana have been integral to their success as one of the premier rosters in the competition.

The Rockets’ Natalie Sciver is among the top scorers in this year’s competition with a game-high 132.0 average in just three innings. Against her will be Brave’s Amanda-Jade Wellington, an Australian leg spinner whose eight wickets are the most in the competition so far.

What’s the team news?

Sciver was one of the first absentees for personal reasons, but has since returned with tireless energy as the Rockets look to back-to-back wins.

Both sides have few concerns about availability as Brave looks to continue their 100% record in the competition.

What is the key match?

While the Rockets relied too heavily on Sciver’s bat, Southern Brave split their runs in the top order with Wyatt, Dunkley and Mandhana all scoring over 120 runs to date.

A host of options put less pressure on their bowling attack, which continues to impress through Wellington, Georgia Adams and Lauren Bell, all of whom took five or more wickets.

It’s a well-balanced team and one that should be feared by a Rockets team that has struggled for any kind of consistency. All odds are in the hosts’ favor, but if an upset is to occur, the bats Trent of Bryony Smith and Elyse Villani must be alive.

Can I get tickets?

There are no tickets available for this Hundred match.
